Your figures and decisions.Your way of managing.
Start with reports, document reviews and actions already organised. Evolve your indicators, views and review criteria with Shappy while keeping the link to authorised source records.
A figure and a document should keep their origin.
Alex prepares his review. He checks the records used in calculations and document versions still awaiting approval.
- 01
Choose authorised data
The report defines its calculation and period. Accessible data determines what can be counted.
- 02
Review versions
Each document keeps its version and author; another person performs approval.
- 03
Follow actions
Assign an owner, due date and status to actions decided during the review.
From source record to approved version.
Indicators in this example count linked fictional records. Documents illustrate an internal review without public publication.
Trace the records counted.
Values come from the linked fictional records below. Filter target gaps or approve a version to see its count change.

Your software, your rules
Add our open-order review view with the period, target and each owner’s overdue actions.
Watch the transformation
Take this example for a spin.
Switch views, open a record and try the available actions. Linked records show how the workflow fits together.
Calculations follow access rights on their sources.
A report does not grant access to every application. Readable data and calculation definitions determine its scope.
- Website & commerce
Orders and bookings accessible to the user for Commerce reports.
What is needed : User read permissions on Commerce are required. Calculation covers visible rows, limited to 10,000 rows, without a cross-application transactional snapshot.
- Files and document review
References, text, versions and history to prepare the review.
What is needed : File transfers remain disabled until the RootCX access-control update. Activation requires storage permissions and separate authorised authors and approvers; the internal library has no separate per-folder permissions.
- Other management sources
New indicators to define according to available data and permissions.
What is needed : Connections require separate implementation and verification. HR/payroll sources, free-form SQL and accounting consolidation are outside the current scope.
Check a report and two document versions.
- 01
Choose sources
Select a period and records the user can actually read.
- 02
Cross-check the calculation
Compare the result with its source rows before discussing targets.
- 03

Your questions before choosing your software.
Can we build our own management reviews?
Yes. Reports, reviews and actions provide a starting point you can evolve with Shappy. Your indicator definitions, review criteria and responsibilities guide the changes. Each new calculation or source connection is checked with the relevant users’ permissions.
Is the data live?
Not in this preview. Actual refresh needs an authorised connection, an available source and a defined, verified frequency.
Can we combine several software products?
User read permissions on Commerce are required. Calculation covers visible rows, limited to 10,000 rows, without a cross-application transactional snapshot.
Does the software predict results?
The views present values, targets and actions. They do not promise automatic forecasting or financial recommendations.
How is a version approved?
An authorised person other than the author performs approval. Versions and history are retained; no electronic signature or cryptographic certification is claimed.
Can we attach and open files?
Record references and notes remain available. File upload, download and deletion are disabled in this release; activation requires the RootCX access-control update.
Your dashboard should reflect your decisions.
Bring your current review. Start with the existing reports to define your indicators, sources and action follow-up.
Bring a representative record and your working rules. We will define data migration and the first changes to check.
